Gold futures slip to Rs. 26,675 per 10 gm

New Delhi-India ( Jan 1)  Gold prices today fell Rs. 28 to Rs. 26,675 per ten grams at the futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, February contract fell Rs. 28 or 0.1 per cent to Rs. 26,675 per ten grams in a business turnover of 71 lots.

Similarly, the far-month April contract shed Rs. 18 or 0.07 per cent to Rs. 26,950 per ten grams.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold futures to a weak global trend.

Gold fell 1.42 per cent to $1,182.90 an ounce in New York yesterday.
