MCX Comdex ends mixed

New Delhi-India (Mar 22)  Commodity prices witnessed mixed trend last week in India. MCX Comdex was down by 0.50% to 3,993.97. This was due to fall in MCX Metal, was down by 2% to 4,765.16 and MCX Energy was up by 0.59% to 4,266.58. Bullion contracts witnessed down trend. Gold April 14 contract was down by 2.61% to Rs 29,751 per 10 grams, and Silver May 14 contract was down by 3.73% to Rs 44,992 per kg,

Metals contracts showed mixed trend. Lead May 14 contract was up by 1.94% to Rs 128.55 per kg. Copper April 14 contract was up by 0.15% to Rs 400.20 per kg. Nickel May 14 contract was up by 0.39% to Rs 979 per kg while Zinc March 14 contract was down by 1.80% to Rs 120.15 per kg. Aluminium March 14 contract was down by 2.14% to Rs 102.70 per kg. Energy contracts showed mixed trend. Crude oil April 14 contract was up by 0.75% to Rs 6,085 per barrel while Natural gas March 14 contract was down by 0.82% to Rs 266.70 per MMBTU.
