Platinum hammered on rumor progress being made in S.A. labor talks

Johannesburg-South Africa (Apr 22)   In early morning trading platinum was up to $1413/ox. However, encouraging labor news from South Africa caused short-term speculators to sell.  Since 08:00am EST platinum has fallen  $16 to $1397.  Many analysts expect platinum may well drop further if indeed a labor agreement is consummated.
