Silver futures fall 0.21% per cent

New Delhi-India (Dec 29)  Silver prices fell by 0.21 Per cent to Rs 37,238 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in offloading even as metal strengthened overseas.

 At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March next year contracts lost Rs 77, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 37,238 per kg with a turnover of 369 lots.

 Also, silver for delivery in far-month May contracts was trading Rs 65, or 0.17 per cent down at Rs 37,875 per kg in a business volume of eight lots.

Meanwhile in Singapore, silver rose 0.50 percent to US$16.14 an ounce.
