Andy Schectman: Silver Premiums Drop For 2nd Week In A Row

May 17, 2023

The recent bank failures during March and April sparked a rush into gold and silver, that resulted in a spike in premiums, and delays in certain products.

However in the first 2 weeks of May, premiums have come back in as a sense of normalcy has returned to the market in the absence of any new failures. Which is perhaps not to say that the banking issues have been resolved or are behind us. Especially with the debt ceiling deadline looming, that so far has shown little signs of being resolved.

So in this week's physical silver report with Andy Schectman of Miles Franklin, Andy describes what the conditions have been like in the physical silver market in the midst of the latest financial developments. He talks about silver premiums and availability, the inventories on the COMEX and LBMA, how people around the world are viewing the financial stability of the US system.

It's been a chaotic year with lulls and spikes in volatility in the silver market, and to find out the latest news and updates, click to watch this video now!
