New York (Oct 17)  Bitcoin-U.S. dollar are near steady in early U.S. trading Wednesday. Volatility has picked up significantly the past few sessions, which slightly favors the bulls. Still, the bears have the overall near-term technical advantage, but more price gains this week would suggest at least sideways and choppy price action for the near term, if not sideways to higher.
