China Gold reserves at 53.31 million oz as of June: Central Bank

Beijing-China (July 17)  China's gold reserves stood at 53.31 million fine troy ounces (1,658 metric tons) by the end of June, the central bank said in a statement on its website on Friday.

The central bank earlier adjusted its reserve figure in April 2009, when the level was at 33.89 million troy ounces (1054 metric tons).
