Dollar Little Changed After US Consumer Sentiment Index

Brussels (July 18)   The Reuters/  University of Michigan's  preliminary consumer sentiment index for July is due at  9:55 am ET Friday  . Ahead of the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major rivals. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it advanced against the rest of major currencies.

The greenback was quoted at 1.3503 against the euro, 1.7056 against the pound, 0.8994 against the franc and 101.39 against the yen at  9:50 am ET.
