Dollar Steady Ahead Of Economic Reports

Brussels  (June 17)   The US CPI, housing starts and building permits for May are due at  8:30 am ET Tuesday  . Before these reports, the greenback held steady against the other major currencies.

The greenback was worth 101.94 against the yen, 0.8980 against the franc, 1.6975 against the pound and 1.3568 against the euro as of  8:25 am ET  .
