Euro Advances Against Most Majors

Brussels (Dec 24)   Reversing direction, the euro climbed against most major opponents in European deals on Wednesday.

The euro, which declined to 1.2168 against the greenback and 0.7837 versus the pound in early deals, rose to 1.2216 and 0.7863, respectively.

The single currency that fell to a 2-day low of 146.43 against the yen at  9:15 pm ET  reversed direction with pair trading at 147.06.

The next possible resistance for the euro is seen around 1.225 against the greenback, 150.00 against the yen and 0.795 against the pound.
