July 25, 2013

MUMBAI-INDIA (July 25) Taking weak cues from the global market and profit-booking by speculators, silver futures prices today fell by 0.58%, to Rs 41,903 per kg.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver prices for delivery in December fell by Rs 245, or 0.58%, to Rs 41,903 per kg in business turnover of 107 lots.
Similarly, the white metal prices for delivery in September lost Rs 221, or 0.53%, at Rs 41,125 per kg in 3,702 lots.
Analysts said a weak trend in the precious metals overseas amid speculation the price rally this month may damp demand, mainly weighed on silver prices at futures trade here.
Meanwhile, silver shed 0.50% to $20.06 an ounce in Singapore today.
