U.S. Dollar Off Early Lows Against Most Majors

Brussels (Aug 23)   The U.S. dollar given up its early losses against most major currencies in European deals on Friday.

The greenback that fell to 2-day lows of 103.49 against the yen, 0.9103 against the Swiss franc and 1.3296 against the euro reversed direction and was trading at 103.79, 0.9120 and 1.3266,respectively. If the greenback continues its uptrend, it may challenge resistance around 104.5 against the yen, 0.92 against the franc and 1.32 against the euro.
