Dollar Retreats Following US CPI Data

Brussels (Dec 17)  After the release of US CPI data for November at  8:30 am ET Wednesday  , the greenback eased from its early highs against its major counterparts.

The greenback was trading at 1.2464 against the euro, 1.5717 against the pound, 0.9630 against the franc and 117.03 against the yen around  8:33 am ET
