SIL Jumps 4.69% on Friday and surged another 6.06% today

LONDON (Aug 12) The Global X Silver Miners ETF (SIL) tacked on 4.69 percent on Friday, Aug. 9, while other metals and mining funds enjoyed similar performance spikes. Markets overall were down, and the S&P500 fell 6.06 points, or 0.36 percent, closing at 1,691.42. However, total U.S.-listed ETF assets gained overall, ending the week at $1.544 trillion in total AUM.

The bounce in SIL continues in Monday trading - as the Global X Silver Miners ETF (SIL) jumped another 6.06% to $14.52. 

However, Palladium and Platinuim are relatively flat in quiet trading.
